Privacy Policy
Current website data use and the intended privacy approach for the future Jalad Bazaar app.
Content updated: 7 October 2026
Jalad Bazaar is preparing for launch. The mobile app is under development; ordering, delivery and payment processing are not live. These pages explain the intended customer experience and will be updated before launch where necessary.
Operator and current website
Jalad Bazaar, a sole proprietorship operating in Khed, Maharashtra, India.
This informational website does not offer accounts, ordering, payment collection or a support submission form. It stores your selected language in your browser's local storage. You can remove that preference through browser settings. Basic connection/device information may be processed to serve the website and maintain security; the exact hosting setup will be confirmed before public launch.
Information the planned app may use
These are planned categories, not a claim that the pre-launch website is already collecting them. Specific notices and permissions should explain the relevant collection when a feature becomes available.
- Account information, mobile/email details where provided, authentication records and order history.
- Delivery addresses and instructions, and serviceability/location data where location permission is enabled.
- Payment status and limited transaction metadata, support communications and claim photographs/videos voluntarily submitted.
- Device/app/security information and delivery or proof-of-delivery information where applicable.
Why information may be needed
Information may be used for account operation and security, order fulfilment, delivery, refunds, customer support, fraud prevention, legal/regulatory compliance and operational improvement. Collection should be appropriate to the purpose. Location permission may support serviceability and delivery; declining an optional permission may affect the related feature rather than authorise unrelated collection.
Transactional messages may support an account or order. Marketing messages should be sent only where legally permitted, with an opt-out. Where consent is required, clear information and free, specific, informed consent should be obtained, with withdrawal as easy as giving consent. Camera, photo and notification permissions should relate to the feature requested.
Payment credentials
Jalad Bazaar does not intend to store UPI PINs, CVV, full card credentials or other full payment authentication secrets. Payment providers may process payment details under their own notices. Jalad Bazaar may receive payment status and limited transaction references needed for orders, support and refunds; no provider is currently finalised.
Necessary sharing and safeguards
Relevant information may be shared with delivery personnel, payment providers and service providers who support the service, and with authorities where lawfully required. Sharing should be limited to what is needed for the purpose, with appropriate safeguards. Security measures aim to protect information, but no digital system can promise absolute security.
Jalad Bazaar does not sell personal data. A supplier involved in a genuine product incident or a professional adviser may receive limited relevant information where necessary and lawful. Where a security incident creates a legal notification duty, affected persons and the competent authority should be informed as required.
Retention and choices
Information should be kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes, applicable legal requirements and legitimate dispute or fraud-prevention needs, then deleted or anonymised where appropriate. No blanket retention period is promised here. Permission settings and browser storage controls can be used for the choices they support.
Children and legal capacity
The ordering service is intended for persons legally capable of placing an order. A child's personal data should not knowingly be processed without verifiable parental or lawful-guardian consent where required. Prohibited tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children should not be undertaken.
Privacy requests and complaints
Subject to applicable law, customers may request information about their data, access or correction, deletion where available, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and grievance redress. Legal retention needs may limit deletion, and withdrawing consent may affect a feature that needs the data. Requests should be verified reasonably and handled under the requirements applicable at that time.
A dedicated privacy contact has not been finalised. The Contact & Support page will publish confirmed request and escalation channels before commercial launch.
Where available under applicable law, a person may nominate someone to exercise privacy rights in the event of death or incapacity, and may approach the competent data-protection authority after using the appropriate grievance process.
Updates to this notice
This notice will be updated as launch features and service providers are confirmed. Material changes should be communicated through the website or app as appropriate. The content-update date is not a declaration that the commercial service or future app processing is already live.
