Pre-Launch

Terms & Conditions

Pre-launch terms for the intended direct-retail Jalad Bazaar service and this informational website.

Content updated: 7 October 2026

Jalad Bazaar is preparing for launch. The mobile app is under development; ordering, delivery and payment processing are not live. These pages explain the intended customer experience and will be updated before launch where necessary.

Operator and service scope

Jalad Bazaar, a sole proprietorship operating in Khed, Maharashtra, India.

Jalad Bazaar plans to procure/hold inventory and sell groceries and everyday essentials directly to customers in supported areas within Khed. It is not currently presented as a third-party marketplace. This website is informational; it does not create an account, accept an order or process payment. Launch terms will be made available before commercial use.

Customer and account responsibilities

When the app becomes available, provide accurate contact, order and delivery details and use the service lawfully. Protect account access and OTPs; do not share them with others or with support. Report suspected unauthorised access through the published support channel. Responsibility for an issue should be assessed fairly rather than automatically placing every unauthorised transaction on the customer.

The person ordering should have legal capacity to contract and authority to order for the recipient. Account restrictions for documented security, fraud or legal reasons should preserve genuine consumer remedies.

Product information and availability

Selection will depend on available inventory. Product descriptions, pack size/quantity, relevant labels, date markings and applicable storage/safety information should support an informed choice. Illustrations may be indicative, but material descriptions must not mislead. Stock availability is subject to confirmation; products charged but not supplied should be removed or refunded as applicable.

Where applicable, product information should include ingredients, allergens, dietary indicators, MRP and selling price, net quantity, manufacturer/packer/importer and country-of-origin details. A proposed substitute should identify its pack, price difference and relevant dietary/allergen implications before approval.

Prices, charges and payment options

The planned pilot minimum order is ₹199. Delivery fee tiers are published in the Delivery & Serviceability Policy. Product prices, delivery fees and any other applicable charges must be disclosed before payment. Incorrect charges should be reviewed and corrected; an additional or higher charge must not be imposed without the customer's consent.

Available payment methods may include UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking and supported UPI QR payment at delivery, as displayed at checkout. Availability will depend on the selected payment provider and checkout configuration. Cash payment or traditional cash on delivery is not currently planned. No payment provider has been finalised and payment processing is not live.

Prices are in Indian rupees. Applicable tax treatment and any offer eligibility or exclusions should be clear before payment; no hidden mandatory charge should be added after confirmation. A debit without successful order confirmation should be investigated with the payment provider, separately from an ordinary merchant refund.

Order acceptance

A request or payment confirmation alone should not be treated as unconditional acceptance of every item. The app should communicate order acceptance and status. Availability, serviceability and operational conditions may affect fulfilment. If Jalad Bazaar cannot fulfil an accepted order or item, the customer should be informed and receive the appropriate cancellation/refund remedy.

Substitutions require your approval

No substitute should be supplied without customer approval. A higher-priced substitute must not be charged without consent to the replacement and higher price. If approval is not obtained, the unavailable item should be removed/refunded as applicable, rather than silently replaced.

Delivery, cancellation and remedies

Immediate delivery, where available, is planned to take approximately 30–45 minutes. This is an estimate, not a guarantee, and depends on location, serviceability, rider availability, order volume, traffic, weather, road/access conditions, stock/store status and other operating circumstances.

The Delivery & Serviceability, Cancellation/Return/Replacement/Refund and Product Quality policies form part of the intended customer terms. Scheduled delivery may be offered where enabled. Cancellation availability depends on the order stage; genuine defect and supply-related remedies remain available after delivery.

Food and product safety

Read relevant labels, allergens, date markings and storage/use instructions. Stop using suspected unsafe or spoiled goods and report promptly. A printed date does not by itself establish fitness for consumption. Safety-sensitive change-of-mind restrictions do not remove genuine quality remedies.

Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not misuse accounts, impersonate others, submit fraudulent claims or interfere with the service. Jalad Bazaar branding and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Do not copy or use them misleadingly or without the required permission. This does not restrict lawful uses allowed by law.

Indian law and customer remedies

Applicable Indian law governs the intended service. Customers retain the right to seek applicable consumer and other legal remedies; these terms do not impose an exclusive forum that removes those rights. Use the Contact & Support page for the planned complaint and escalation process.

Nothing in these policies removes applicable consumer rights or remedies for defects, spoilage, damage, expiry, unsafe goods, wrong items, misdescription or short supply. Reporting targets do not automatically exclude genuine complaints or latent defects.

Events outside reasonable control may affect delivery, but do not remove responsibilities imposed by law. These terms do not exclude responsibility for fraud, wilful misconduct, unsafe goods, personal injury or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes before and after launch

These pre-launch terms may be updated as the service is finalised. Applicable terms and charges should be available before a customer places an order, and material changes should be communicated appropriately. Later policy changes should not retrospectively remove remedies for an existing order. No commercial effective date has been set on this page.
